What is it?

An appraisal and performance application is the tool your organization uses to set goals, capture continuous feedback, run review cycles, and produce a record both the employee and the manager have signed off on. For IT, that means a governed application connected to your HRIS and identity systems, with every figure, comment, and approval logged.

The right fit

What’s the right choice for your appraisal and performance app?

Betty Blocks is the AI Application Generation Platform that gives the business AI speed, while IT gets the controls they are accountable for. Curious how it stacks up against alternatives? Here is how the four common approaches actually compare.

The AI App Gen era

Why Betty Blocks for appraisal and performance

Governed from the first prompt

HR leads and people partners describe the review process in plain language. The app lands inside your platform, registered, owned, and versioned from day one. No shadow review spreadsheets circulating between managers.

Your controls, inherited

Every release moves through the DTAP environments, RBAC, audit trails, and CI/CD pipelines your IT team already operates. Employees, managers, and HR admins each see what they are entitled to see. Once a review is submitted, changes require approval from both parties. Every action is logged.

Connected to the systems that hold the document

Governed connectors to your HRIS, identity, and notification systems, plus MCP servers when you want AI to summarize feedback or surface themes across a manager's team. Access controls of the source stay intact.

Code your firm owns

Betty Blocks generates standard React and WebAssembly. Exportable. Run the performance app inside Betty Blocks, on your private cloud, or on premises. Employee data stays where you can defend it.
