Boost development capacity

Should the issue arise that a customer lacks the in-house development capacity needed to complete a project, they can rely on a Betty Blocks developer for assistance. Likewise, it can be the case that the development of a particular component does not fit the organization’s sprint planning and requires external development resources for timely completion. Depending on your organization’s needs, we have two types of low-code developers available:

  • Business technologist: A developer who focuses on setting up the right infrastructure so that your organization can use Betty Blocks in a no-code way. This involves creating templates, components, integrations, and actions specific to your organization’s goals, which non-developers of your organization can use for speedy development purposes.
  • Low-code developers: A developer who can create a “no-code escape hatch” within your dedicated space on the Betty Blocks platform. An escape hatch allows for the creation of custom no-code functionalities for any application, enabling non-developer employees to utilize it better. An escape hatch can also be created to remove any technical blockers that your development team might face.

Secure a successful application delivery

Here at Betty Blocks, we want to set our customers up for success from the get-go. As with any technology platform, becoming adept at building full-fledged solutions takes time. This is why we offer a comprehensive onboarding strategy based on the client’s development capacity and business goals. Based on the complexity of the application, a Betty Blocks expert carries out duties such as an SDLC analysis to identify any gaps. Moreover, a platform set-up session can be requested to guide the client through the best practices for utilizing our low-code platform and how to reach their goals within the required timeframe. The goal of these activities is for the customer to become self-sufficient with the Betty Blocks platform quickly, which allows them to master the SDLC going forward.

Outsource and accelerate projects

One of Betty Blocks' many benefits is the freedom to build any type of application with low-code. However, for organizations with a small development team and big ambitions, it can sometimes not be feasible to complete all of the planned projects in a timely manner. For such occasions, Betty Blocks offers a multidisciplinary team of project managers, product owners, developers, and testers to take on outsourced development projects.

There are five stages being conducted when outsourcing a project to Betty Blocks:

  1. Initiation: End-user requirements are gathered and translated into application requirements. This can be done either through the Discovery Sprint or Requirements Workshop.
  2. Planning: A development roadmap is established according to the application requirements. This is relayed to the customer for approval.
  3. Execution: The development process is executed using an Agile approach, which involves frequent evaluations to ensure a high-quality end product.
  4. Monitoring: Stakeholders continuously provide feedback on scope, budget, and timelines to the customer.
  5. Closure: The final product is tested on user acceptance criteria, security audits, and deployment before being handed over to the customer.
