A sovereign cloud should give your organization clearly defined control over where workloads run, who can access them and what happens if you leave. The word “sovereign” alone is not proof of any particular protection.

Six checks that matter
Is a European provider always better?
Not automatically. A European supplier may simplify parts of a sovereignty strategy, but you still need to inspect hosting, subcontractors, legal obligations and exit terms. A US-owned provider with an EU region and a European provider can present different trade-offs. Assess the full setup.
Where Betty Blocks fits
Betty Blocks is an application-building platform, not a sovereign-cloud provider. Use it to discuss the application layer, integrations, deployment requirements and exit plan alongside the infrastructure provider you select. Ask which options are available for your exact contract.
